Digital Scrapbook Page – Lea France Rose Window 1 – LF022

In this post I show you a digital page made with an original template from Lea france, based on the Rose Window stencil.
I used 7 photos: One in the center and this time I choosed to plase the other 6 in the small boxes for a change, and I filled the large one with design paper.
The advantage of digital scrapping is that fitting your photos in a box is a bit easier 🙂

I used scrappapers from the kit back to nature, which could be found on digitalscrapbook.com. It is from designer Janet-Scott

Digitalscrapbook.com really is a treasure chest full of beautiful things, definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for beautiful digital paper. There is so much to find and a lot is added every month. And even with a free account you can download every day a lot of stuff.
Really recommended !

Walk in Ravels (Belgium) – S007

In this post you see a page created with the digital template S007 (ScrapildeDesigns)
This page belongs in my album of our day trips.
I used 4 photos in this layout.

The photos were taken during a walk in a nice little wood in Ravels Belgium.
I think the combination of te 2 dotted paper in different size goes well together.

About the digital templates:

Using these types of templates gives me the opportunity to scrap digitally, while still staying true to my style, also know as the european scrapbooking style.
You can buy this and other templates on my website. There is already a nice collection available, so be sure to take a look in my shop.
I specify with each template wich formats are provided, most of the time I proivide following formats:

PSD format for photoshop (elements)
PAGE format for Artisan (English language software)
PNG and TIFF for any software that can work with PNG and TIFF
I also provide a SCALB file of my own designs, to be used in the Studio-scrap software.

New templates in the shop

After a long time of inactivity, some new templates have finally been added to the shop. They are all Scrapildedesigns templates.

S030 and S031

As you can see S030 and S031 coordinate very well together.

They are both designed for 3 photos. The narrow strips between the photos are ideal for adding a title.
The templates can also be used very nicely as a double page layout, as you can see below (S031)

S032 and S034


S032 and S034 are excellent for square photos: 4 photo spots, tightly placed, but the shapes and roundings make the templates look elegant and leave room to create beautiful and playful effects.

S033

I created S033 with Halloween in mind, unfortunatelyat that time I had some health issues and couldn’t publish it for halloween. Fortunately, postponement did not become a cancellation.

The template is also great for fall themes.

S035

Finally, S035 is ideal for using 2 landscape and 2 portrait photos. For the finish in this template you can choose from delicate lines, dots and shadows. This way you have even more choice with only 1 template!

iNSD2022 Blog train and freebie

It is international scrapbooking day 2022 and I wanted to do something extra for you all.
I recently joined a FB group for independent designers and they set up a blog train for NSD2022. We called it the iNSD2022.
Sadly I didn’t had the time to collaborate for the current blog train, but I didn’t want it to pass without promoting my new designerfriends! And next blogtrain I will be also participating!

Pocket pages with a twist

What is it?

Are you wondering what pocket pages are? Well I try to explain it (briefly).

In 2008 project life from Becky Higgins was born. The use of plastic sheet protectors divided in different pockets took scrapbooking to a whole new level: No need for glue anymore, just inserting the photos and pocket cards in the desired pocket.

Soon the style was adopted by the digital scrapbookers and designers of digital products included pocket cards and templates in their kits.
A pocketpage template typically is an arrangement of blocks in a few different standard sizes on a page. Each block then can be filled with photos or patterned paper.
Contrary to the physical pocket pages, in digital scrapbooking with pocket pages you are not limited to the blocks. You can put embellishments anywhere on the page. There is no right or wrong way to use the templates

Digital Pocket Pages with a twist

Almost all the time the shapes in the digital templates are rectangular. Nothing wrong with that, but if you know me a little, you know I love curves. I started searching templates with curves and I didn’t find them.
So I decided to made them myself,. And so my new type of templates were born: pocket pages with a twist 🙂

The first templates will be a mix and match serie: I made different variations with a few standard shapes.
If you know well how to deal with rotating and duplicating layers you can stick to a few templates with the standard shapes. If you are not you have also the option to buy a set where I did the work for you.
